Transmission problem
2003 Land Rover V8 All Wheel Drive Automatic 119, 00 miles

My dealer has suggested, based on a diagnostic test, that I need to have my transfer case replaced at an estimate of approx. $4500.00. Is this a fair estimate based on what you know about this type of job.

the job calls for 12 hours labor charge @ shop labor rate plus the cost of the transfer case !!
