I have problems filling up at some stations. Sometimes I have to stand outside and pump cent by cent, the pump just keeps shutting off. Other times the pump will keep going, but gas will shoot out of the tank (scary!). I got this car second hand and I hear the previous owner ran out of gas a lot. Could that have something to do with it? What should I do?

Hi there,
you have a problem in the fuel tank venting system, this system involves a number of valves, purge lines and is rather complex, I suggest you contact your land Rover dealer as it may be a bit tricky for your average mechanic.
