2002 Land Rover Freelander All Wheel Drive Automatic 61500 miles

Hello,

Something strange has started happening to my car. I have this yellow truck sign with an exclamation point that has come on. Also, where it says D for drive, it's now flashing a 4 and an F. The car is driving rough too. I didn't see this anywhere in the manual, or maybe I overlooked it. Any suggestions as to what could be going wrong? Thanks.

have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to retrieve the fault codes and repost with full codes for further assistance
