How to check transmission fluid level

Transmission fluid leaking how to check fluid level and replace fluid what kind of fluid I can use?

JATCO A/T - Drain & Refill
WARNING:Use extreme care when draining transmission fluid as the fluid is VERY hot.

NOTE:Transmission fluid should be drained with transmission at normal operating temperature.

Raise and support vehicle. Apply parking brake and position chocks under front and rear wheels. Remove underbelly panel. See UNDERBELLY PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
Position suitable container under transmission. Clean area around drain plug. See Fig. 4 .

Remove drain plug and discard sealing washer. Allow fluid to drain.
Clean drain plug and install NEW sealing washer. Install drain plug and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
Clean area around filler plug. See Fig. 2 .

Remove filler plug. Add correct amount of fluid through transmission filler hole. See FLUID CAPACITIES .
Clean and install filler plug. Check and top off fluid level. See CHECKING FLUID LEVEL . Install underbelly panel. See UNDERBELLY PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
