Engine Mechanical problem
2001 Land Rover Discovery 2

I have some signs that the head gasket is blown on my vehicle. White exhaust, moisture dripping from tail pipe, crud and moisture in oil cap. Will a sealant work to repair the leak? If so, do you recommend any?

Ok before putting anything in the radiator to plug a leak I would have a chemical test done on the radiator to determine if there is any exhaust gasses in the coolant. See during cold weather you get condensation that builds up in the exhaust and if this car see's mostly short trip driving with lots of idle time you will even get it in the valve covers. SO do the chemical test first then you will know if there is a problem and decide what you want to do from there.
