ANTI-SWAY BAR
Removal
Raise and support vehicle. See JACKING & HOISTING. Mark position of mounting bracket bushings on anti-sway bar. Remove anti-sway bar mounting brackets. Remove anti-sway bar-to-link nuts and remove anti-sway bar. If necessary, anti-sway bar link can be removed without removing anti-sway bar.
Installation
Position mounting bracket bushings on anti-sway bar with split pointing towards axle on right side bushing and away from axle on left side bushing. Install anti-sway bar with angled ends pointing downward. Loosely install mounting bracket bolts. Using NEW anti-sway bar-to-link nuts, install anti-sway bar ends to link and tighten nuts to specification. If removed, tighten link-to-frame nut to specification. Tighten anti-sway bar bracket nuts to specification
