I have a 97 discovery with 160k miles I have been having troupe recently and replace fuel filter air filter sparkplugs and wires idle air valve, I have been running fuel injector cleaner for 2 tanks of gas now the issues is seaming to get worse
When starting first time of day it will not start in park most times must put in to neutral, later starts during the day normally start in park but not always. It will normal die take 2 -3 times starting before I get it to run and idles rough, dropping below the 600-750rpm to about 200-250-. Once it is running on acceleration it is loosing power. After driving above 5-10 mph it is fine if you stop occasionally the engine will die. But then again some times when you stop it is fine. I had the codes read I have a 300 multiple miss fires 1478 to do with air flow and a 441 replace fuel cap as well. I don’t know what to do the more things I do to the car the worst it seams to drive any subjections

Hi there,

These Discoveries have a chronic problem with air flow meters, i would be looking there first.
