I recently took the battery out of my 96 discovery and put it back in. when i put it back in my alarm sounded. My doors are a bit faulty and when i unlock the doors with my key it won't turn the alarm off. I don't need my alarm and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to fix this so that i can just get the vehicle started.

there should be a 4 digit alarm/immoboliser bypass code in the vehicles handbook if you do not have the handbook contact your local dealer with the VIN number to get the code !! hope this helps
