1995 Land Rover Discovery shifter stilll stuck in park

1995 Land Rover Discovery 140k miles

ignition replaced, stil stuck in park. how do i release the mechanism locking it in park? it wont even roll, i need to move it. its only used to haul garbage trailor to dump, its no 'show car'.

replace the park/neutral switch on the side of the transmission !!
