my IAC motor works and i clean it well every month ,,,,,, my question is very simple , how should i adjust it , what is the perfect adjustment for a discovery 1995 ??

i`m a very simple person so please try to answer me in a simple way such as how many cm or mm should the head be protruding exactly so i get the best performance ,,,

No adjustment's are possible .. just cleaning or replacing the valve ! IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE Removal & Installation Disconnect battery negative terminal. Remove connector from Idle Air Control (IAC) valve. See Fig. 14 . Unscrew valve from its location at rear of plenum chamber. Remove sealing washer. To install, fit a NEW sealing washer. NOTE:If same bypass valve is being refitted clean any previous sealing compounds from threads. Apply Loctite 241 to threads of valve before reassembly.

Tighten valve to specified torque. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
