1994 Land Rover Discovery SPARK PLUG LEADS

Hi,

I want to change the ht leads on my landy. i pulled the old lead off the spark plug end and this left a bit of metal that i had to unscrew off the spark plug. i assumed that you could just pull the old lead off and replace it by pushing the new lead on. any help appreciated. thanks

leave the little bit screwed to the spark plug and just push on the new lead !!
