when i start the jeep it makes a knocking noise and can feel it under the gas pedal. When i accelerate you can hear the knocking get louder. I changed the spark plugs and it does have enough oil.

Knocking that you can feel has nothing to do with internal engine or oil problems. The things to look for include the rubber isolator in an engine mount chewed up or split apart, an exhaust pipe hitting the frame or body, (usually as the result of a collapsed engine mount), and a worn suspension part. If you don't find anything obvious, have the steering and suspension systems inspected at a tire and alignment shop.

There is a tool you might be able to borrow or rent from an auto parts store that borrows them called the "Chassis Ear". It is a set of six microphones, a switch box, and headphones. You clip the microphones to suspect points, then drive around while listening with the headphones. You can move the microphones around to zero in on the source of the noise. Be aware that many mechanics have never seen or even heard of this tool. Suspension and alignment mechanics use it to find rattles, squeaks, and other noises.
