I noticed that engine knockings are obvious during the did day and even during late afternoon, I Iraq, ambient temperature reaches more than 45 degrees centigrades, not sure howmuch is the air temperature,
Th knock becomes more evident when coolant temperature rises to more than 90 degrees, and becomes almost always present when above 100 degrees. Giveng that the maximum coolant temperatures reach upto 107 degrees, but when engine is just turned on and when Air conditioner is on, the coolant temperatures keeps below 85 degrees , no knock is present.

Not aure wheather this has long been present or a recent issue,

My ocatane rate is 90 and above which is already known here in Iraq to be a qualified degree fuel,

Even so I tried the premium fuel , the same problem was there.

Alot of aftermarket shops, advertising about ecu reprogramming, claiming that these car are programmed already for low temperature countries, not for middle east, and they should be reprogrammed for the AFR, and for the cooling Fan low threshould start.

Wheather right or not, I am not convinced with that and looking for trusted advice.

O
Best regards.
