Hello guys, I washed the engine space and parked my car for about two weeks after I drove about 150 km and the engine light was on. Computer is showing knock sensor 2 has problem. I just want to know the location of sensor 2? I believe there’s just bad connection from water and I will check it. If the sensor is bad, can I just connect to wires together, short cut?
Thank you for your help.
With best wishes,
Paul

Yep, this happens all the time, I would replace the knock sensor wiring lead as well, I believe it comes with the new sensor if you buy OEM. The knock sensor is below the intake manifold which will need to be removed, the location of the sensor invites the water damage FYI. Below is help to remove the intake so you can get to it. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
