Knock sensor location needed

2002 TOYOTA CAMRY

We are having some trouble locating the knock sensor on the car listed above. Some say it's under the intake manifold on the right side of the engine. We have also heard that we should remove the engine and exhaust manifold. which sounds a bit wrong to me. We would appreciate it if anyone could clear this up.

Hello,

The knock sensor is located under the intake manifold between the cylinder heads. here are the locations for both six and four cylinder engines in case someone else needs the four cylinder. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
