Where is the Knock sensor located?

When I got on the part store website it said front location and rear location. Is there more than one knock sensor on this or is there only one and where is it located?

Hi,

On the 2.4L there is only one. (See pic 1) it is located under the exhaust manifold. It does require the removal of the manifold to access it.

If you look at pics 2 and 3, they explain how to replace the knock sensor. The remaining pics are the directions for removing the exhaust manifold. Installation is the reverse of the removal process.
