Engine shut off while driving

Okay, I have the vehicle listed above. I was riding down the highway and all of a sudden it shuts off the only thing out of place is a knock sensor by the distributor. Can that keep my car from cranking it will turn over?

Hi,

The knock sensor is used to fine-tune ignition timing. It shouldn't prevent it from starting.

I need you to do a couple of checks. Chances are you either lost fuel pressure or spark to the spark plugs. Here are two links that show how to test for both:
