i have a 2002 honda civic code how do i check it and replace it if its bad without taking the intake off

It can be accessed by removing the oil filter

Thank you, my book doesn't show how to check the sensor or wiring circuit. Do you have the procedure for checking the voltage and witch wires to check I want to rule out the PCM Thanks and have a geat day

There is no way to rule out the PCM. All you can do is verify the integrity of the wires between the sensor and the computer.
