Engine Performance problem
2002 Kia Sportage 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 95.000 miles

Can someone please help me with this one.. Every time i put gas in my 2002 KIA Sportage it will not start right up the 1st time and then i have to start it again and thats when it will start but the car acts like it wants to go off and when i give it gas it gets right.. Never have this problem until i get gas and i started to get the best off me. Do i have bad gas in the car r what?

I want you to try something. THe next time you get gas, turn the key to the run position for a few seconds, off, back to the run position for a few more seconds three times, then try to start it.

Let me know if it starts correctly after that.
