Hello as I was driving today my Kia Sportage started making a loud nocking sound from the front of the car. Please tell me what this maybe? Thank You!

Hi:
With the engine running, in park and with the park brake on, open the hood. Try to determine if the sound is coming from the motor.

Also, can you describe when you hear the sound, if it is effected by speed or not.
