Where is the location of the knock sensor on the Sportage?

Hello,
The knock sensor is located right above the oil filter and looks like this (below)
Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

If you have a 2.0 DOHC the knock sensor is on the passenger side of the block. From the underneath side of the vehicle you remove the support bracket that holds up the intake manifold. And its right behind it. You have to use a small tool to pull the wire clip from the harness and it then pulls apart.
