i was coming home today and whenI changed gears it would not pick up speed and it was smelling underneath like something burning. Could it be the clutch?

Hi dylan thomas,

Symptoms indicates the clutch is slipping and would fail soon. Check if there is sufficient free travel between the clutch pedal and master cylinder push rod.
