2004 Kia Spectra Blue smoke blowing out of the tail pipe

My kia spectra started a clicking noise last fall. I don't use it during the winter, but my sister needed a vehicle and had been driving it everyday. I just got it back from her and I put 2qt of il in it to stop the clicking. When I started the car, blue smoke started to pour out of the tailpipe. As I drive it, the smoke lessens alot but doesnt go away. When I restart the car, it's starts blowing the smoke heavily again. What is the problem and is there an easy fix? I don't mind spending the money if there is not an easy fix, but I planned on trading in the car when I get my taxes back, and I don't want to spend a bunch of money and ten get rid of it.

check the oil level is correct .. have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to check for any fault codes stored on the PCM
