Engine Performance problem
2003 Kia Spectra 4 cyl 89882 miles

Two years ago my Kia Spectra had a problem with the fuel pump and we had it replaced. Now it runs rich and the check engine light stays on. I think it is the O2 sensor. Could it be something else?

Probable causes of an engine running rich are as follows:

1.Excessive fuel pressure can be cause by restricted fuel return line or defective fuel pressure regulator.
2.Defective Oxygen Sensors.
3.Leaking injectors and fuel pressure regulator.
4.Coolant temperature sensor out of calibration.
5.Restricted air intake system.
