I went to autozone because my check engine light came on. they gave me a code and a list of possibilities that couldbe causing the code. I tried the first one, which is loose or defective fuel cap. I've replaced the fuel cap and the light will not go off. the next code tells me that the EVAP canister is broke or the hose is cracked or not connected. This is where I am having dificulty because I dont know where the canister is located on my car.

Raise the rear of vehicle, get underneath it. The canister is tucked behind the fuel tank towards the bumper.
