2006 Kia Sorento Wiper Motor/ Wipers

Hi,

I have two questions. First question is why do the wipers stop in the up position? Is the motor bad?

Next question.. How do u replace the wiper motor??? Which side is the motor on???

could be from bent linkage to bad motor. would need to visually inspect linkage first before deciding to replace motor.
