Steering problem
2004 Kia Sorento 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 87k miles

we have a leak in a power steering line.it comes from the resevoir-starts as a rubber hose-becomes a metal line for about 2 feet, then becomes rubber again.it is a drip type leak, not a spray.can this be "quik-fixed"by cutting out the small leaky section of metal and replacing with a section of rubber hose and clamps?i don't believe it's high pressure, because it only drips.(?)mony's tight,so i can really afford a kia mechanic at this time.thanks alot.

Hi there,

This is the high pressure hose, and it will have to be replaced as a complete unit.
