Engine Cooling problem
2004 Kia Sorento Engine Size unknown Four Wheel Drive Automatic 61,000 miles

I have a small puddle of a greenish fluid suddenly leaking from underneath my car - is this radiator fluid?
Also, sometimes the cooling fan continues to run after the car is turned off and it continues until the battery is drained. I replaced the relay switch but it still continues to happen randomly. It seems to be connected to how I turn the car off - say if I turn it off too quickly and pull the key out fast.

I had the same problems with my 04 Sorento. Good news is that the cooling leak is most probably from the plastic cooling resevoir, which KIA has recalled and is covered under your warrenty. They replaced mine at no cost. Bad news is my KIA fan still runs randomly too, and I don't have an answer for that one as of yet. Do hope that helps. Contact your local KIA service center for recall warrenty work.

Not recalled item. Only a warrenty item.
