2004 Kia Sorento bent valves

A damage sprocket, pulley and timing were replaced with Kia partes, now the engine shakes and no compression in one of the cylinders. Can bent valves be the cause of one or more of the damage parts before they were replaced?

Yes, you could have bent a valve. How does the engine run other than a vibration? Any power? Dead miss? Check engine light...?
