My Kia leaks out antifreeze the moment it is put in. The heater will not work when it gets low, but the gage NEVER shows hot. There doesn't appear to be coming from a hole in the reservior. What else could be going on here? Where do we start to look.
It runs down and makes the engine smell hot and smoltering.

What is the donation thing mean??? So, are you saying you only answer for a fee? What is it?

Hi there,

You will have to get the cooling system pressure tested as this will locate the coolant leak, you must be backfill as the temp sender will only work with coolant over the bulb, so with low coolant you will get a false reading of the actual engine temp,

The donation is up to you, normally we work on donated questions first as this is a way or ensuring that your question is answered promptly, the donation can be a little or as much as you wish, often members will also make a small donation after having there problem sorted out, thank you for using 2carpros, your feed back is always welcome.
