1999 Kia Sophia Sounds like marbles got into the engine!!!

This car has had plenty of problems, but never with the engine until now... It doesnt matter if im idle, or driving, it sounds like the engine has something stuck in it, pinging around. From what I can tell, there is no problems with performance....

I've heard good things about this site, and if you help me fix this I will be forever greatful!!!

Detonation/pinging can be caused by an engine overheating and an EGR that is not opening not reducing the combustion temerature to prevent the formation of Nox
