should i buy a car that has noisy valve lifters? 1998 kia sephia 5speed 4cyl $700.00 how difficult is it to replace them i am a entry level auto tech, but i have never had the chance of working on lifters before

Hi there,

Noisy lifters can be a number of problems, low oil pressure, sludge build up or faulty lash adjusters, i would want to know what was the exact cause first, personally i would not buy it.
