I needed to changed the battery on my 98 Kia Sephia. The car has an After Market Alarm system that I did NOT install. (I bought the car used w/ the Alarm) So, I have none of the paperwork. However, the alarm is a "Pursuit" Alarm system.

As soon as I connect the Positive wire to the car battery, the alarm starts screaming and the car will not turn over.

Any thoughts on how to disengage the alarm and get the car working again?

They make this info hard to look up just in case you are a thief trying to steal a car.

You will need to contact Audiovox.
And FWIW, I think the Prusuit name brand was only sold to new car dealers.

good luck
