I was in a recent accident that caused debris to clog oil pump. I drove another 50 plus miles before the problem caused the oil light to come on. The oil pump was changed but now the light flickers intermittently. I'm thinking the sensor could be bad, but am not sure. What else could be the problem?

Have the oil pressure rechecked if its normal replace the oil pressure sending unit/sensor.
