Brakes problem
2004 Kia Sedona 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 53000 miles

I was having a major problem with a loud noise coming from my car when stopping. The car was finally looked at by a Kia dealer other then the one I purchased it from and they told me that the problem was that there was never any grease in the front brake caliper slides or in the rear backing plates. They put in in and the noise has gone away. I am worried that it may return or I may have done extenseve damage to the car driving it for over 9 months with with out the grease that should have been applied by the maufacturer. Am I justified with my concerns and should I bring this to the attention of the manufacturer for some kind of reinbustment on the vechile or a longer warrenty in case there are other problems that accure from this problem.
