my mot is due and the o/s drive shaft is noisy and im struggling to find one in time.will my car fail mot on a drive shaft if the cv boot is in good condition?

if the examiner feels excessive play/travel in the joint it will fail ..it is a lot easier to replace the axle instead of the joint !!
