Hi There,
Just started having the exact same problem you described. Checked all the fuses both inside and under the hood but they all check out fine. Did you find out what the problem was on your van?
Thanks.

Hi rstrain,
Had our van in yesterday and it was the DRL (daytime running light module). Our dealer said it was a common problem and on vans that are still covered by warranty they replace them but for vans out of warranty period like mine they have come up with repair. It is located near shifter and they said that problem part can just be resoldered. Only cost me 1/2 hour of labor and is working fine now.

How did he resolder this part? Is the part he fixed the daytime running module? Was he a mechanic with Kia? I may have my mechanic do the same thing.
