2009 Kia Rio Rearview mirror removal.

2009 Kia Rio 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Is there a trick to removing tge inside rearview mirror on a 2009 Kia Rio? I want to put a tint strip on the front winshield, but don't see how the rearview mirror comes off. Please advise.

On the 09, I believe it is glued to the glass. However, check to see if there is a small allen wrench bolt holding it in place. If there is, loosten it and the mirror should slid off.
