Kia says my timing belt wrecked my engine. Its under the warranty at least ,thank god. Are the intake valves and camshaft built on the new engine or are they separate from it I guess they must be bad as well? They have new engine and waiting on these parts?

The new engine will come with the new parts. They are in the cylender head, so chances are they have the bottom end of the engine and are waiting on the top.

This is refered to a interfearance engine. When the timing belt broke, the valves remained open and the pistons hit and bent them.

Let me know if you have other questions.
