Electrical problem
2004 Kia Rio 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 04' Kia Rio. The brake lights in the tail lights do not work, but the brake light in the hatch works fine. I checked the bulbs in the brake tail lights and they are fine. I checked the brake light sockets with a circuit tester and not getting any power to the sockets in both tail lights.

If the 3rd brake light works and the others are getting no power, there has to be a broken wire. Remove the light assembly and start there. See if there is power to the wireing, then start following it to see where the power is lost.
