how do i adjust my clutch

Measure distance from upper center of clutch pedal to dash lower panel and ensure distance is within specification. Pedal height (without carpet) is 7.68" (195.1 mm).

Depress clutch pedal by hand until resistance is felt. Measure clutch pedal free play. See Fig. 1 . Free play should be .35-.59" (8.9-15.0 mm). If free play is not as specified, adjust free play by loosening lock nut on clutch master cylinder push rod and turning push rod until free play is within specification.
Check disengagement distance between dash lower panel and upper center of pedal. Disengagement height (without carpet) is 3.28" (83.3 mm).
