Kia Sportage 2002 92,000 mileage

When I am waiting (not moving) the needle for the thermostat rises to the hot level. When I start moving again it goes back to normal. It has not overheated yet.
Also, should water ever be added to the radiator?

Please add coolant till properly filled first the radiator and then the resevoir bottle. Might want to replace the thermostat and make sure the electric fans are coming On.

Water will ruin your cooling system. They use Antifreeze and make sure its the correct type.

Good Luck
