2001 Other Kia Models OK to run car with bad AC pump if I do

2001 Other Kia Models 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 36.000 miles

I have a 2001 Kia Sephia and just replaced a serpentine belt then when I turned on air heard popping noises and other belt was starting to get ate up so I changed it turned air off and car is running okay My question is Is it okay to run car now as long as I dont turn on AC?if so how long can I do this?

I would replace the pump a soon as you possibly can .. although no damage will occur if it is not running
