i have no clue where my spark plugs go

I don't know the engine type that you are referring to but if it is the distributorlesstype, then it is directly under the coil. You need to disconnect the wire and remove the holding bolt to gain accecc.

If there is a big cover over the engine, remove it first. 4 holding nuts.
