2000 Other Kia Models Mass air flow sensor

Is it bad to drive my kia sephia with a bad mass air flow sensor. We took it to the local auto zone to check why the check engine light came on and the code came up to be the Mass air flow sensor was bad. So im wondering if its bad to drive it like that Its been about a week since we found out and we thought it wasnt bad. But we found out wrong. So is it bad and what possible could happen.?

will run very poorly
It will may cause a misfire that will damage the converters
I would fix it as soon as possible just to avoid more costly repairs
