The A/C fan stays on high even when in the off position. Unable to turn fan to low position also. Fan stays on high position all the time. Checked all fuses and disconnected battery to reset computer but no joy. Where else can I check?

I've check thru my references Mit1 there's no listing for a blower motor resistor-the AC control module controls the speed of the blower motor-

Did you ever find out what was causing this and how to fix it? I have the same problem with my 2006 Kia Optima. The fan blows on high constantly even when the ac unit has been turned off. I cannot adjust the fan speed when it is on either. It shuts off when I turn the car off but if the car is on it's on high.
