I am having a problem with the back support part of the power drivers seat in my 2005 Kia Optima. It is stuck and wont move up or down. The seat itself will still move forwards and backwards, but this portion of the seat will not move. Can you tell me what to check to troubleshoot? I have no idea where to begin and there are no repair manuals for my car. I will be so thankful for any help you can provide me.

Hi windygale,

Under the seat you will find 2 wire couplings, 1 for the seat forward and reverse. The other is for the seat position.

Check for current supply.

It could be the switch or motor assy.
