I have a 2003 Kia Optima and the passenger door no longer works.. the window and the locks work, but it refuses to open. i can not get the door panle off becouse you have to have the car door open to get the screws out. is there any other way i could get the door open to get it fixed?

the only way to access the linkage is to remove the panel. That is the only way to open the door. I realize the seat is in the way, but you need to use a short screwdriver or an S shaped one.
