My KIA engine shakes when I drive it. It doesn't shake as bad when I step on the gas in drive.

Do you have the normal amount of power? Has the check engine light come on? WHen was the last tune up?

Yes I have normal power in D, 3, 2, & 1 and with no hesitation. No check engine light. I haven't done a tune-up yet on this car. I've owned it for a year too. Should I do a tune-up and change the transmission fluid?

Well, a tune up may help. I would first check for vacuum leaks on and around the engine. If you do a tune up, make sure to replace the fuel filter too. It may still be the original one. As far as the transmission service, if the fluid is getting dirty, you should. But, I don't feel that has anything to do with the engine running rough. My first guess would be a vacuum leak.

Let me know what you find.
