1994 Kia Optima Door unlocks, but will not open

Interior problem
1994 Kia Optima 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

MY car locks all work and unlock with the power lock, no problem. However, every door opens except the drivers door. I am pretty good at unlocking a door with a hanger, but is there any good way to jimmy open a unlocked door? I can probably find out and fix the cause if I could get the door panel off, but I can't get the door open. Please help!

I hate to say it, but it sounds like the linkage has come apart inside the door. It is tight, but you have to remove the door panel with the door closed.
